Winona, could be described as a spunky person in all she did. Winona was not a big person in stature, but she attempted all her passions in life with fervor.  She loved to play golf and to play cards.  She gave back to her community through her many hours of volunteer work.  She built many special friendships with the lovely people that she met during her volunteer work, living at Wellington Place, and working at Missouri S & T.
She adored her family.  She enjoyed sharing about her daughters, Cindy and Cathy, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.  She loved making Thanksgiving a special time for her family, always making sure "Granny's noodles" were on the table.

Winona Morgan is survived by two daughters: Cindy Spurgeon and husband, David and Cathy Wells and husband, Lonny of St. James, Mo; three brothers: Lee Jones of O'Fallon, Mo., Wilbur Jones and wife, Susan of Kansas City, Mo., and Fred Jones and wife, Paula of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters: Marge Elliott and husband, Leonard  of Kansas City, Mo and Elbert Jones of Kansas; five grandchildren:  Monica, Dallas, Megan, Dusty, and Damon and ten great-grandchildren:  Broc, Beau, and Judd Lyle; Jay David and Rhett Spurgeon and Simon, Kate, Henry, Oliver and Braedyn Wells.
