Jayse Emerson Newton Ray of St. James passed away suddenly on Friday morning November 6, 2015 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo. He was 3 months and 28 days of age.

Jayse Ray was born July 9, 2015 at Rolla, Mo. the son of Justin Ray and Leah Ybarra both of St. James.

Jayse Ray is survived by his parents Justin Ray and Leah Ybarra of St. James, Paternal Grand-parents Jerry and Claudette Ray of St. James; Paternal Great-Grandparents Jerry and Linda Ray of St. James, Mo., Gary and JaniceVanKirkof Edgar Springs; Maternal Grandparents Mark and Jessi Scheel of Bland, Mo.; Maternal Great-Grandparents Patrick and LaRana Pirrie of Cuba, Mo.; Aunts  Abby Ray of St James; Emily Scheel of Bland, Mo.;
Uncles  Hank and Evan Scheel of Bland, Mo., Along with many other Aunts and Uncles.

Jayse was a happy, active boy who loved to draw and be the center of attention. He will be sadly missed by all the lives he has touched.

Jayse Ray will lie in state Monday November 9, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Rev. Mick Thrasher Officiating. Amazing Grace, God Gave Me You and If He Is Anything Like Me, were played for the service. Serving as Pallbears: D. J. Fleshman, Elye Rogers, Tyler Murphy and Hank Scheel. Burial will be in the family plot at the Bowen Cemetery.

All arangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home of St. James, Mo.
