At 8 years of age, Gary's family invited me to attend church and Sunday school with them at the St. James Christian Church where I worshipped and accepted The Lord as my Savior! I'm not sure I would have known The Lord at that age had it not been for the Collier family. I moved after high school and met and married my husband of 45 years, Denzil. We married in 1970 at the Ridgeview Christian Church in Rolla. My love of God began and my faith grew because of this kind family. Gary and I would sit in the back seat together for the 10-mile ride to town! I think we attended the Asher Holler one-room school together as well. To all Gary's family I send my deepest sympathy. Gary, I wish you Godspeed!!

Mrs. Hill thank you for your inspirational words. My daddy meant a lot to a lot of people. He was a great man. Although I did not get to meet my grandparents I know that they were very special. They raised my daddy and taught him the value of faith, love, and family; which he passed along to us. I love him and he will live on forever in our hearts.

Although I didn't know him well I always found him to be a very friendly and kind man. He meant the world to so many people and he will be so greatly missed. I am sending hugs and prayers to his entire family and extended family. May God give you peace at this very difficult time in your lives.
