Cecelia Marie (Colcchia) Veraguth

Cecelia Marie Veraguth of St. James, Mo. passed away on March 17, 2016 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo.  She was 74 years and 9 days of age.

Cecelia Veraguth was born on March 8, 1942 in San Jose, California to her parents: Baigo and Ruth Snider Colcchia.  She was united in marriage to Walter Gene Veraguth on Aprils 29, 1959 in Reno. Nevada.

Cecelia was a native of California, where she grew up and attended school. She worked as a Security Guard for 25 years and also managed a laundry company. Cecelia and her husband Gene loved to travel and stop at local diners. They moved to St. James 12 years ago to be near there son Kenneth who worked at Country Mart for over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cecelia Veraguth is survived by her husband Walter Gene Veraguth of St. James, Mo.; one son: Kenneth Veraguth of St. James, Mo.; and one grandson: Aaron Veraguth. 

Preceding Cecelia Veraguth in death is her parents: Baigo and Ruth Snider Colcchia; one brother: Jack Colicchia and one sister: Ruth Sorento and brother-in-law: Joseph Rego.

Visitation for Cecelia Veraguth will be on Thursday, March 24, 2016  from 6 - 8 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Jones Funeral Home with Larry Clark, Deacon at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Pallbearers were Henry Chatman, Lynn Huggins, Steve Brazill, Wayne Tessaro, Jesse Embrey and Randy Malory. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
