Carol England

Carol England of St. James, Mo. passed away on January 14, 2017 at the Cox Hospital in Springfield, Mo.  Carol England was 68 years, 6 months and 8 days of age.

Carol England was born on July 8,1948 to her parents: William and Margaret Dark Phillips in Pittsfield, Illinois.

Carol England was a retired registered nurse. She loved being a nurse and helping people. She worked at several places through out her career. She worked at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Missouri Veterans Home and the Rolla Regional Center.  She loved animals especially dogs and had a love/hate relationship with them. She liked to crochet, reading book and watching movies. She loved her grandchildren very much, she loved to spend time with family and her five grandchildren.

Carol England is survived by her husband: David England of  St. James, Mo.; one son: Bradley England of Ft. Gorden, Georgia; one daughter: Sarah Schafer and husband Brian of St. James, Mo.; three sisters: Vicki Stewart of Chester, South Carolina; Patti Vannatta and husband Pete of St. James, Mo.; and Ann Mitchell and husband Roger of Quincy, Illinois, along with grandchildren: Lexi, Hunter, Cali, David, Addie.

Visitation for Carol England will be on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 2 - 4 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services for Carol England will be on Friday, January 20, 1017 at 4 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. 

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes.  Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James. 

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
