Frank Earl Skyles

Frank Earl Skyles of Rolla, Mo. passed away at his home on August 17, 2016 .  He was 67 years, 10 months, and 15 days of age.  

Frank Earl Skyles was born on October 2, 1948 to his parents: Frank Raymond and Lottie Marie Nease Skyles.  He was united in marriage to Brenda Kay Chilton Skyles who passed away on April 27, 1998.  Then he was united in marriage to Patrica Ann Roark.

Frank was a maintenance director and worked for Great Circle for 33 1/2 years.   Frank loved the farm.  It had been in the family for over 100 years.  He enjoyed his cattle, hogs, and chickens and putting up hay.  He had many John Deere tractors (over 10) and had sheds for all of them. Frank loved to have fun, telling jokes and aggrevating friends or just causing trouble.  He loved his guns, and spent many hours reloading ammo.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and love him.

Frank Skyles is survived by his wife of the home: Patrica Ann Roark Skyles; three sons: Dale Skyles of Rolla, Mo.; Donald Skyles of Ashville, North Carolina; and Jimmy Skyles of Arkansas; two daughters: Elizabeth Paine and Dorothy Skyles both of Rolla, Mo.; three step-daughters: Cynthia Molzen and Christina Woolsey both of Rolla, Mo., and Tara Duncan of Steelville, Mo.;  two brothers: Raymond Skyles of Pieria, Illinois and Charles Skyles of Rolla, Mo.; three sisters: Rose Teems, Aarmyma Gargus and Virginai Beyers all of Rolla, Mo.; along with 10 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild.

Preceding Frank Skyles in death is his parents: Frank Raymond and Lottie Marie Nease Skyles and his first wife Brenda Kay Chilton Skyles.

Full Military Graveside services will be conducted on  Friday, August 19, 2016 at 2 PM at the Wishon Cemetery, Rolla, Mo. with Terry Dees officiating.   Pallbearers will be Charles Skyles, Donald Skyles, Tim McDowell, Clyde Teems, Cody Curtis, Clay McKinnon,  Jaden Woolsey and honorary pallbearer will be Dale Skyles.  Burial will be in the Wishon Cemetery.
