David Wayne Borseth

David Wayne Borseth of St. James, Mo. passed away at the Phelps County Regional Medical Hospital in Rolla, Mo. on December 30, 2017. He was 82 years, 6 months and 22 days of age.

David Wayne Borseth was born on June 8, 1935 to his parents: Raymond and Rowayne Rowe Borseth in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Maggie Thorpe onSeptember 13, 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Maggie Thorpe Borseth was laid to rest on June 13, 1981.

David Wayne Borseth was a 1st Sargent in the US Army. He was retired from the Military as a First Sargent. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

David Borseth is survived by six sons: William Grubbs of Waynesville, Mo.; Paul Grubbs of Hamel, Minnesota; Bryan Grubbs of Indiapolis, Indiana; Reynold Borseth of Agusta, Ga.; Raymond Borseth of Augusta, Ga.; Richard Kinney of California; daughters: Charlene Brink of Brandenburg, Kentucky; Susan Borseth; Charlene Dykes and Sherry Blanco all of Georgia; brothers: Richard Borseth of Minnesota; Gene Borseth of Minneapolis, Minnesota; sisters JoAnn Gran of Rockford, Illinois; Mary Jane of Morehead, Minnesota; Shirley Peotter of Arizona; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Preceding David Borseth in death is his parents: Raymond and Rowayne Rowe Borseth; wife: Maggie Thorpe Borseth on June 13, 2004; one brother: Roger Borseth.

Mr. Borseth will lie in state from 1-7 pm Friday January 12, 2017 at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 10:30 am at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
