Danielle MaChelle Gilliam, 24, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, from injuries sustained in a car accident.

 

Danielle was born November 10, 1992 in Rolla, Missouri, to Daniel Gilliam and MaChelle Taylor. She was a junior at Columbia College majoring in Business Administration-Healthcare Management. Danielle spent most her time being a mommy to her three daughters and loved every minute of it. She also enjoyed spending time with their daddy, who was also her fiancé. She loved the outdoors and kayaking. She was an avid player of the SIMS and loved her phone. Danielle was known to text a person even if they were in the same house with her, as opposed to talking.

 

Danielle Gilliam is survived by her fiancé, Brent Wagner of Lake Ozark; daughters Lilliana Taylor Wagner, Daci Mae Wagner, and Ryli Alleen Wagner, all of Lake Ozark; her mother, MaChelle Taylor of St. James; her father, Daniel Gilliam of Vienna; maternal grandparents, General Leon and Mary Taylor of St. James; paternal grandparents, Karen and Thomas Ward of Rolla; paternal great-grandmother Barbara Gilliam of Steelville; uncles Mike Gilliam, Bruce Daniels, Jim Arl and Kip Barker; aunts Alisa Artioli, Mitsy Daniels, MaLinda Arl and Melody Barker; and numerous cousins and dear friends.

 

Danielle was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Roger Gilliam and cousin Kyia Grace Lee Daniels.

 

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 19th, 2016 for family from 9 am – 11 am, and for friends from 11am – noon at Flag Springs Church in St. James. Funeral services will  follow the visitation. Gary Bartle will officiate. Burial will be in the Flag Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers are Donnie Beal, Lynn Adams, Joshua Arl, Jacob Arl, Chris Daniels, Ross Taylor and Chantelle Daniels.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wagner Girls Education Fund.

 

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
