Tonya Geist-Riden

Tonya Geist-Riden of Rolla, MO passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at University Hospital of Columbia, MO.  She was 54 years old.

Tonya, the daughter of the late Edward Powell and Myrtle Arvin, was born February 6, 1968 in St. Louis, MO.

Tonya is survived by her husband, James Riden of Rolla, MO; four sons:  Terry Arvin and wife, Courtney of DeFuniak Springs, FL; Raymond Arvin of Rolla, MO; Bradley Arvin and wife, Marlana of Rolla, MO and Mickey Arvin and girlfriend, Kelcie of Belle, MO; one daughter, Angelisa Dye and husband, Jamar of Springfield, MO; two stepsons:  Bryan Riden and James Riden; four brothers:  Jeff Powell and wife, Robin of Imperial, MO, Kenny Powell of Rolla, MO, Tommy Powell of Imperial, MO and Andrew Arvin of St. Jospeh, MO; thirteen grandchildren and seven step grandchildren.

Tonya is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Arvin;  father, Edward Powell; step father, Joseph Arvin and two brothers:  Timothy Powell and Donald Powell.

Tonya was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.  She cherished her grandchildren.  Tonya enjoyed the outdoors; she spent many hours fishing the Ozark rivers and ponds.  She loved camping and spending time with family.
