Steven Franklin Williams of Rolla, MO passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at his home in Rolla, MO. He was 55 years of age.
Steven, the son of Richard Franklin and Alberta Maxwell Williams, was born July 12, 1963 in Rolla, MO. He was united in marriage to Liz Tomek.
He is survived by his mother, Alberta; his wife, Liz; two sons: Tyler Williams of Waynesville, MO and Travis Williams and granddaughter Tallulah Belle Williams of Charleston, SC; brother, Mark Richard Williams and wife, Rachael; and nephew, Isaac Williams.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard; brother, Gregory Albert Williams and nephew, Cooper Dean Williams.
He was a loving son, husband and father. Although his body was toughened from the many years of weight lifting, he had a very tender heart. He worked as an electrician for Cypress Fairbanks School District in Texas for 23 years. He loved spending time with his family and being outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, hunting deer and turkeys, camping and floating. He was a member of the Grace Bible Church in Rolla, MO; he had just accepted Christ as his personal savior.
Visitation will be 10 AM Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Jones Funeral Home with Chuck Cook officiating. Pallbearers will be Travis Williams, Tyler Williams, Matt Sands, Joshua Ymkir, Brady Ymkir, Bruce Light. Internment will be in the Little Prairie Burial Ground in St. James, MO.
