Shirley Ann Todd-Gould

Shirley Ann Todd-Gould, formerly of St. James, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 in St. Charles, MO. She was 88 years of age.

Shirley, the daughter of the late Fred Allen and Eunice (Moreland) Todd, was born March 10, 1934 in Webster Groves, MO. She was united in marriage to Richard H. Gould May 19, 1951.

She is survived by her son, Richard A. Gould and his wife, Patricia J. of Bridgeton, MO; daughters: Sherry Ferkol of Fountain Valley, CA and Amy K. Gould of St. Charles, MO; brother, Francis Todd of Wright City, MO; and five grandchildren: Shanna Ash, Katie J. Gould-Daniel, Jill M. Gould, Jessica Gould; Kelly A. Gould and one great grandchild, Brooks Gould.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; and brothers, Fred Todd and Lee Todd.

Shirley loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In her retirement years, she spent many hours traveling to visit family and friends. Shirley was so gracious with her time, and she was a joy to talk with about her travels and memories. She was very sharp at crossword puzzles, and she enjoyed taking painting classes.

Shirley graduated from John F. Hodge High School in 1951. She worked many years as an assistant store manager for the Walmart retail stores. 

Shirley will lie in state at 12 Noon Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Broadway Baptist Church in St. James, MO.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Broadway Baptist Church with Bro. Scott John officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will be in the Broadway Memorial Cemetery.
