Ronald Dean Taber

Ronald “Dean” Taber was born on August 16, 1959, to Korky and Shirley Taber. He passed away on February 14, 2023, at the St James Living Center at the age of 63 years old.

He is preceded in death by his parents Shirley and Korky Taber, his wife Bertha Taber and daughter Sara Taber; Sister/Brother-in-laws Johnny and Shirley Eaton, Paul Myers, Joe Stubblefield, Claude Pyatt, Kenny Pyatt, and David and Angela Eaton. He is survived by his son Jason Taber and wife Abbey Taber, grandchildren Ryder and Mason Taber; Brother Faron Taber and wife Janet Taber; Aunt Catherine “Cath” Taber; Sister/Brother-in-laws Helen Pyatt, Mary Pyatt, Maxine Myers, Gerald and Susie Eaton, Lloyd and Carol Eaton, Peggy, and Junior Callahan, and Glenda Stubblefield; and girlfriend Marilyn Greene and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Ronald “Dean” Taber loved his family, fishing, hunting, trapping, and mechanicing. He worked at Brake Parts for over 10 years in Cuba. In later years he made hand and machine-sewn quilts, which his mother taught him how to make.

Ronald “Dean” Taber had a big heart and loved to help others. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a christian.
Ronald “Dean” Taber requested to receive hospice care from Three Rivers Hospice and received excellent care from Barrett and Heather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will forever be in our hearts. The memorial service will be held at New Life Worship Center 715 North Meramec in St. James on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 1:00 p,m.
