Rachel Nicole McLeod

Rachel Nicole McLeod passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Phelps Health. She was 41 years old.

Rachel was born on February 6, 1980, in St. Louis, to Beverly McLeod and Wayne Hellon.

Rachel loved the Lord. She attended the First Assembly of God in St. James. She was a fun-loving and strong-willed person. She enjoyed going 4 wheeling. Rachel enjoyed swimming and had since she was a child. She was a lover of cats and dogs. When she was younger, she did some modeling.  She was a hard worker. She worked in road construction as a laborer.

Rachel is survived by her mother: Beverly Mcleod of Bland, MO. She is also, survived by two brothers: Timothy Andrew Laboe of Ballwin, MO and Matthew Nathaniel Fanning of Colorado Springs, CO. Aunt’s: Rhonda Holbert, Laura Shaw, Melissa Bowling, Debra Smith, Cheryl Cooper, and Dawn Braun.  Along with many cousins.

Rachel is preceded in death by her father: Wayne Hellon. She is also, preceded in death by Uncles, Dan McLeod, Lanny, and Bob McLeod.

Visitation for Rachel McLeod will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

The funeral for Rachel McLeod will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James. Pallbearers ’will be Brad Wynn, Ricky Hix, Johnny Wood, Ben Green, Jimmy Keeney, Dale Roark, Robby Taylor, and Mark Wiles. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St James.
