Quentin Duane Ellis

Quentin Duane Ellis of Independence, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his home in Independence, Missouri. He was 14 years of age.

He was born Sunday, May 3, 2009 in Rolla, Missouri. He was the son of Kevin Ellis Jr. and Sara DeLuca Terrill.

He is survived by his parents: John and Sara Terrill of Independence, MO and Kevin Ellis Jr of St. James, MO; sisters, Chloe Ellis and Ruby Terrill of Independence, MO; one brother, Marshall Ellis of Keokuk, IA; maternal grandparents, Gary and Sharon McNelly of Vichy, MO and Mike DeLuca and Judy Peters of St.James, MO; great grandmother Janie Mullen of Leasburg, MO; paternal grandparents, Kevin Ellis Sr and Christina Lohrer of St. James MO and Mike and Tammy Terrill of High Gate, MO. 

Also surviving aunts, uncles, and cousins, Jenna Dale of Columbia, MO and Vaida Dale of St. James, MO. 

Quentin will lie in state at 10:00 AM Friday, June 9, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral for Quentin Ellis will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Jones Funeral Home with Jacob Auxier officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike DeLuca, Kevin Ellis Sr, Gary McNelly, Mike Terrill, Travis Terrill and Jacob Auxier. Interment will be in Cross Road Cemetery, Leasburg, MO. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Ellis Family.
