Paul Edward Newkirk Jr.

Paul Newkirk Jr. passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at Phelps Health in Rolla, Mo. He was 73 years of age.

Paul is survived by four sons, Shane Newkirk and wife Brandy of Dixon, Mo, Robbie Newkirk and wife Beth of Fort Scott, Ks, Joe Newkirk of Dixon, Mo, and Bobby Beal of Dixon, Mo, one daughter, Kimberly Clark and husband David of Jefferson City, Mo, one sister Jean Strain of Dixon, Mo, one brother Mike Newkirk of Dixon, Mo, and several grandchildren.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Newkirk, one brother, Jim Newkirk, and his parents.

Paul served his country in the United States Army. He received several medals of honor while in the Army. Paul was an outdoorsman. He loved to fish, koon hunt, ride horses, and ride mules. He loved his mules. He would be koon hunting with his dogs and come to a fence, but the koon was not safe he jumped his mule over the fence. He also drove a truck over the road for over 40 years. Paul retired from the City of Dixon where he worked for 15 years.

There will be no service for Paul Newkirk at this time.
