Patsy R. (Gibson) Norris

Patsy R. Norris passed quietly with her family at her side on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Phelps Health in Rolla, MO. She was 79 years of age.

Patsy Norris was born April 28, 1942, in Phelps County, the daughter of the late Hadley and Ada Mounce Gibson.

She was united in marriage to Robert Wayne Norris, He entered into rest in 1994.

Patsy Norris is survived by Daughters, Tina Hauck of St. James, MO, Angie Rowden of Cuba, MO Jeannie Parker and husband, Tom of Rolla, MO, and Crystal Boyd and husband, Chris of Rolla, MO. One son Robert Norris and wife, Christy of Steelville, MO two brothers, Tom Gibson and Terry Gibson,  Sisters Cathy Lubbert, Sue Perkins, and Judy Carl. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Mike, Roger, Kevin, Ryan, Chase, Tiffany, Jake, Kadin, and Wyatt along with 8 great-grandchildren, Gavin, Josh, Ethan, Emery, Mya, Abigail, Bennett ,  and Rykeralong with other relatives and friends.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Penny Earls, and one sister Rose Gibson.

Patsy was a family person, she loved all her family and enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports. She had the biggest heart and loved everyone. Patsy never had a bad day, she was always happy and content with life.  She never missed an evening calling her kids and telling them she loved them. Riding around town with her sister Judy, was one of her favorite things to do, along with watching her Soap Opera’s on T.V. She will be truly missed by her loving family and friends.

Patsy Norris will lie in state from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9th, 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Mike Mounce officiating. Pallbearers will be Kadin Norris Mike Earls, Ryan Roberts, Roger Carl Jr. Chase Ford, and Jake Ford. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Hauck Jr, Kevin Hauck, Gavin Earls, Josh Earls, Wyatt Boyd, and Ryker Roberts. Burial will be in the Asher Cemetery.
