Nancy Sealock

Nancy A. Sealock of St. James passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Silverstone Place in Rolla, MO.  She was 78 years of age.

Nancy, the daughter of the late Russell Avery and Earline Virginia Martin Shifflett, was born May 29, 1943 in Orange, Virginia.  She was united in marriage to Gilbert Lee Sealock, Sr. on September 3, 1960 in Maryland.

Nancy is survived by daughter, Audrey Polly and husband, Bobby of Elizabethtown, Indiana; son, Gilbert Lee Sealock, Jr. and wife, Lori of St. James, MO;  three grandchildren:  Ashley Polly, Ryan Sealock and wife, Chelsea, Brandi Cross and husband, Corey; great grandchildren:  Kaidence Polly, Lilly May, Blaise May, Ella Sealock, Lela Sealock, Maci Pruitt, Brylee Pruitt, Jackson Day, Mackienze Day and Preston Long; great great granddaughter:  Arizona Lynn Fletcher; sisters:  Barbara Colvin and husband, Jackie of Baboursville, VA and Mora Hyde of Orange, VA;   sister-in-law, Diana Shifflett of Mountain Grove, MO and special nephew, Glenn Sealock and wife, Karen of Rolla, MO.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gilbert Sr. April 22, 1998; grandson, Travis Day; brother, Bobby Shifflett; sister, Shirley Glober; brother-in-law, A.C. Glober; nephews:  Bobby Shiffflett, Jr. and Wesley Shifflett; Nieces Elaine Shanks(Dec. 2018) and Susan Ganger.

Nancy loved life, and she loved people.  Her family described her as a social butterfly.  She loved planting flowers in her yard; her family and friends enjoyed the beauty of her flowers.  Shopping was another favorite hobby; she enjoyed antique shops especially.  While living in Springfield, she worked at the Andy Williams Moon River Theater in Branson.   She worked at the Forest City Family Practice in St. James for 27 years.

A Memorial Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.  Burial of the ashes will be at Ozark Memorial Cemetery in Rolla, MO at a later date.
