Michelle Chere Johns

Michelle Chere Johns of Rolla passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Phelps Health in Rolla, MO.  She was 41 years of age.

Michelle, the daughter of Perry Smith and Tina Shockley, was born December 8, 1980 in Rolla, MO.

Michelle is survived by her father, Perry Smith of St. James, MO; sons: Caden Haley of Salem, MO and Joey Cook of Republic, MO; daughter, Kytelin Johns of Rolla, MO; sister, Amber Fast and husband, Nathan of Carthage, MO; half-sister, Anna Workman of Vichy, MO; niece, Jadyn Feingold of Carthage, MO and nephew, Desmon Workman of Rolla, MO; aunts: Lucinda Davis and husband, Jim of Lebanon, TN; Kim Workman and husband, Ramey of Vichy, Mo; Pam Mitchell of Jefferson City, MO; Misty Bland and husband, Rex of Freeburg, MO and Lisa Ridenhour of Vienna, MO; uncles: Ricky Smith and wife, Gloria of Cuba, MO; Eddie Shockley and wife, Darla of St. James, MO and Matt Shockley and wife, Amy of St. James, MO and many cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Tina Shockley; her grandparents, LeRoy and Donna Smith and Ed and Betty Shockley and aunt, Tonya Spurgeon.

Michelle was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was a cosmetologist.  She loved cooking, music, arts and crafts.

Graveside service will be held 11 AM Saturday, June 18, 2022 at St. James Cemetery with Steve Smith officiating. Pallbearers will  be Ken Fox, Mike Smith, Tyler Lindsay, Heath Smith, Chris Newcom and Cash Bliss.
