Beth graduated from Webb City Schools. After graduating from high school, she attended Missouri Southern College. For many years, Beth was employed as a devoted secretary. Most recently, she worked for The State Historical Society of Missouri in the Rolla Research Room, located on the campus of S & T. She thoroughly enjoyed her work there; she had the opportunity to meet a number of individuals in helping research historical collections. She retired in 2017.
Her many interests included: sewing, cooking, crafts, scrap booking, reading, singing, cake decorating, and camping. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Colorado and the Smokey Mountains. She enjoyed writing skits for church production. She always attended her grandsons’ sporting events; she was their loudest cheerleader.
Beth touched many lives as a pastor’s wife. She served in many capacities in churches where Doug pastored as song leader, teacher, women’s missions, children’s church, AWANA and VBS director.
She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in St. James.
