Luke Anthony Moreland of St. James passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in St. James, MO. He was 49 years of age.
Luke, the son of Ronald and Elizabeth (Ashby) Moreland, was born July 26, 1973 in Rolla, MO.
Luke is survived by his parents, Ron and Liz of St. James, MO; brother, Scott Moreland and wife, Julie Black; two sisters, Kate Kimsey and significant other, Anthony Beer and Sarah Moreland-Russell and husband, Kenny Porter; nieces and nephews: Samuel Moreland and fiancé, Viktoriia Karhina, Aubrey Moreland, Alison Black, Ashley (Zeke) Kuhse, Matthew Black, Christopher Kimsey, Ethan Kimsey, Daniel Russell, Isabella Russell, Logan Porter, and Ashlyn Porter.
Luke had a great love for family and friends. He loved antiques, music, and Cardinal baseball. He also loved fishing and all things nature.
A private funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church with Father Greg Meystrik. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Church Cemetery in Rosati, MO.
