Kathleen Leann (Wethy) O'Donnell

Kathleen O’Donnell passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at a friend's home in St. James. She was 33 years of age.

 She was born August 1, 1988 in Rolla, MO, to Donald and Linda Falkner Wethy.

Kathleen was a joyous person to be around. She was always laughing and had a smile on her face. She was a people person and loved to be around her family and friends. She loved to aggravate her nephew Gaige. They had a standing joke about Cow Tails candy. One evening when Cathy was visiting Gaige, all she had to say was Cow Tail, and the laughter would fill the entire evening. She loved to go swimming and went every chance she could. She was a licensed cosmetologist and loved to make other people feel pretty. She loved having her fingernails done. She will be sadly missed.

Kathleen is survived by her father, Donald Wethy of St. James, her mother: Linda Bullock and husband Terry of St. James, two daughters. Kayla and Bailey Howard of Salem, MO, along with one sister: Lacy Guinn of St. James. She is further survived by three nephews: Gaige Guinn, Taylor and Chace Shipp of Salem.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Donald Wethy Jr., maternal grandparents George and Charlotte Faulkner, Grandpa Walter Wethy and Grandma Annetta Beers, Great Grandmother Goldie Barton along with cousins Justin Brim and Wyatt Millard.

Visitation for Kathleen O’Donnell will be January 3, 2022 at 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. January 3, 2022 at the Jones Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Jones Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
