Jerry Dean Asbury

Jerry Dean Asbury of St. James passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Phelps Health in Rolla, MO.  He was 49 years of age.

Jerry, the son of  Larry Dean Asbury and Linda Lee Lewis, was born May 26, 1973 in St. Louis, MO.  He was united in marriage to Sarah Jean Asbury on March 10, 2006 in Union, MO.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah of St. James, MO; two sons:  Joseph Asbury of St. James, MO and Jake Pinkley of St. Louis, MO; two daughters:  Karly Asbury of St. James, MO and Jodi Dingledine of Springfield, MO; sister, Lazet Kent of St. James, MO; two brothers:  Larry Asbury of St. James, MO and Tracy Miller of St. James, MO and five nephews:  Joshua, Danny, Zackery, Benjamin and Dalton.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Lewis Groh and his father, Larry Asbury.

Jerry was a Christian man, and he was a very giving person.  He loved his spending time with his family. Jerry worked in the asphalt business; he loved his job.  He was a hard worker for his family.  He enjoyed fishing on the Missouri River and Meramec River, especially for catfish. He enjoyed playing video games; he would stay up all night trying to defeat a game.  He spent a lot of time listening to music; Motley Crue was one of his favorite bands. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

His ashes will be buried in the family plot at a later date.
