James " Jimmy" Watson Obituary

James "Jimmy" William Watson was born on October 2, 1978, in Rolla, MO. He passed away peacefully at home on January 26, 2024 after a very sudden decline in his health. Jimmy was only 45 years of age.

Jimmy is survived by his loving mother Linda Watson of the home, his brother George Watson (Joyce), his sister, Jennifer (Clayton) Deese, his brother Jeffrey (Sara) Watson and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family members. Jimmy, was undoubtedly met with loving arms in heaven by his late father, James Wesley Watson, his maternal grandparents, George and Myrtle Rinehart, and paternal grandparents, Wade and Mollie Watson.

As a kid, Jimmy loved fishing and spending time in the woods with his dad and uncles. He never missed an opportunity to be ornery and enjoyed laughing with his brothers, sister, and cousins. Jimmy graduated from St. James High School in 1998.

Jimmy's childlike spirit was a reminder to embrace the simple pleasures of life and find joy in the smallest of moments. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Jim” to a cherished host of nieces and nephews. Jimmy loved video games, hot sauce, and all things Marvel. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
