Huey Lee Johnson of St. James passed away at his nieces home, Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was 62 years of age.
Lee, as everyone called him, was born November 8, 1958, the son of Stanley Dean and Lola Jewell Cranfill Johnson.
He is survived by his son, Jeriod Duckworth of Truman, Arkansas; two brothers: James Johnson and wife, Connie of Lake of the Ozarks, Bob Johnson of Massachusetts and Bill Johnson of St. James; one grandchild, Lori Lei Duckworth and aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Louie Johnson, Ellis Johnson and John Johnson and two sisters: Cynthia Pauline LeClair and Wilma Lewis.
Lee had a big heart, always handing out to help others. He enjoyed cooking; his specialty was making bread pudding. He liked playing a good game of chess and poker. He was a handy at working on appliances.
Visitation will be 12 Noon Sunday, January 24th at Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 24th, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jeriod Duckworth, James Johnson, Bill Johnson, Ricky Lewis, Chrystal Walter and George Walter. Honorary Pallbearer will be Danny Karnes. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. James, MO. Memorial donations may be entered on this website located at the top of the page under donations, for the burial expense for Lee Johnson.
