Eunice Marie (Walls) Mitchell

Eunice Marie Mitchell of St. James, Mo. passed away on June 19, 2018 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo. She was 58 years, 4 months, and 15 days of age.

Eunice Marie Mitchell was born on February 5, 1960 in Rolla, Mo. to her parents: Claude H. Sr. and Pearl Elizabeth Adams Walls., Eunice Mitchell was united in marriage to James Fredrick Mitchell on May 21, 1976 at Flag Springs, Mo.

Eunice loved her family and loved to be around her grandkids. Eunice worked at the Missouri Veterans Home for 13 years and at the Golden Living Center for 8 years. She liked to crochet; loved bingo and had a great love for elephants and if you visited her home you would see her collection of Elephants. She was strong headed and set in her ways. But everyone loved her.

Eunice Marie Mitchell is survived by sons: William Everett Walls and wife Susan of St. Roberts, Mo.; James Anthony Mitchell and wife Brenda of Rolla, Mo.; and Christopher Lee Mitchell and wife Heather of St. James, Mo.; brothers: Curtis Adams of St. James, Mo.; Claude H. Walls Jr. and wife Cindy of Rolla, Mo.; sisters: Mary Lane and husband Rodney of Avon Park, Florida; Brenda Oliver and husband Jim of St. James, Mo.; along with eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding Eunice Mitchell in death is her parents: Claude H. Sr. and Pearl Elizabeth Adams Walls: husband: James Fredrick Mitchell on May 26, 2013; one daughter: Brandy Marie Saunders; and one brother: Charlie Walls.

Visitation for Eunice Mitchell will be on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 5 PM at the Jones Funeral Home with Craig Rippy officiating. Burial of the ashes, at a later date, will be held at the Miles Cemetery in rural St. James, Mo.

Memorials may be made to Veterans Assistance League at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, Mo.
