Elizabeth Laine Scheider

January 23, 1998 ~ September 17, 2022 (age 24)

Obituary

Elizabeth Laine Scheider passed away peacefully at the age of 24 years, in the arms of her grandmother, at St. Louis University Hospital on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Elizabeth was born January 23,1998 to her parents William Paul Scheider IV and Sara (Groner) Scheider.

Elizabeth battled her illness until her heart and her body told her it was time to go to her home in Heaven.

Elizabeth “Sissy” loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, camping, swimming, animals, and flowers. She had a great love for her dogs and any animal in need. She fostered pit bulls until the time that they could find a permanent loving home to call their own. She even cared for nine baby opossums feeding them with eye droppers after their mother was killed. Sissy was an amazing cook. She took great pride in her sausage gravy, chicken fried rice, and BBQ, being much better than her grandmother's. She loved drawing and coloring beautiful flowers and animals.

Before becoming so ill, she could outwork anyone cutting wood, building fence, moving furniture, hauling hay, and any other work that needed to be done. She also enjoyed helping Mike and Jodi Ripplemeyer at 4M Vineyards. She loved decorating and dressing up for holidays.

Elizabeth struggled throughout her life to find love and happiness, but at last, she has true love, happiness, peace and no more pain. She made her peace with the world and God, and she was ready to go home to Heaven.

Elizabeth Laine Scheider is survived by her father, Wm. Paul Scheider IV; brothers: Billy and Nick Scheider; Grandmother, Roberta Scheider; Great Grandmother, Dorothy Wisdom; Great Great Aunts and Uncle: Bob and Dolly Mounce, Betty Rinehart, Kathy Adams, and Sue Neidert; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
