Cynthia LeClair Obituary

Cynthia Pauline LeClair of St. James passed away Sunday morning February 2, 2020 at Phelps Health in Rolla, Mo., following a brief illness.

 

Cynthia was born in St. Louis, Mo, on August 30, 1959 the daughter of the late Stanley Dean and Lola Jewell Cranfill Johnson.

 

She was united in marriage to Ronald Anthony LeClair on June 29, 1996 at Clear Lake, California. He enter into rest. January 2, 2019.

 

Mrs. LeClair is survived by son: David Brian Cochran and Ashley Bettorf of Granite City, Illinois, Daughters: Chrystal Lynn Jewell Walter and her husband George Walter Jr., along with Patricia Marie Andrews of Jefferson City, Mo. She is further survived by Huey Lee Johnson of St. James, James Johnson of St. James, Robert Yul Johnson of Boston, Massachusetts and William Cleveland Johnson of St. James., four very special grandchildren Andre, Brian, Jacob and Gage.

 

Preceded in death by her parents: Stanley Dean and Lola Jewell Cranfill Johnson; brothers: Louie Dean Johnson, John Anthony Johnson, Stanley Ellis Johnson, and sister Wilma Louise Lewis.

 

Cynthia LeClair loved her grandchildren very much. They were important to her as well as her brothers and family. She loved to sew, fish and to read the bible. She loved music and to dance. Her husband called her Boobie and her daughter called her Toot’s.

 

Visitation for Cynthia LeClair will be on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 11 AM to 1:00 PM.

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. Pallbearers will be: James Johnson, Crystal Walter, David Cochran, Ricky Lewis, George Walter Jr., Daniel Karnes. Honorary Pallbears will be  Crowly Wright and William Johnson. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

 

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
