Brynda May Craft of St. James, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. She was 66 years of age.
Brynda, the daughter of the late LeRoy Elmer and Betty Ruth Garber Hope, was born Novermber 27, 1955 in St. Louis, MO. She was united in marriage to Melvin Wilbur Craft on May 2, 1987.
Brynda is survived by her husband, Melvin of St. James, MO; two sons: Eric Craft and wife, Hannah of Rolla, MO and Bryant Craft and wife, Jaomi of Rolla, Mo; daughter, Stacy Brakhage and husband, Raymond of Tampa, FL; sister, Donna Craft and husband, Michael of St. James, MO; seven grandchildren: Heinrich, Audie, Sabine, Demi, Leo, Phoenix and Finlee and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Hope who passed away December 1986.
Brynda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending their birthday parties and other special events. She was always sure to tell them how much that she loved them. She loved painting figurines; she painted until her fingers were unable to control the paint brush. She loved watching the Cardinal Baseball team; Yadier Molina was her favorite Cardinal baseball player. She was a cook at several local restaurants: Elm Restaurant, the local bakery, Frisco, Tuggy & Joe’s and Country Bob’s. She was also manager at Burger King. Her family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses at DaVita Healthcare Company in Rolla.
Brynda was a member at Tabernacle of Praise in Rolla.
Brynda will lie in state 10:00 AM- Noon Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Tabernacle of Praise in Rolla, MO. Funeral service will be Noon Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Tabernacle of Praise in Rolla, MO with Bro. Tim Blackwell officiating. Burial of the ashes will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Jones Funeral Home are suggested.
