Bernard Dillon of Bourbon, MO formerly of St James passed away July 30, 2020. He was 67 years of age.
Mr. Dillon was born February 20, 1953, the son of the late Lloyd Arthur and Lillian Winfred Kean Dillon.
Bernard Dillon is survived by sisters Susan Dillon of Austin, Texas and Peggy Dillon of St. Peters, along with other family and friends.
He is preceaded in death by his parents, two brothers: Walter and Gary Dillon.
Bernard was a truck driver most of his life, working for the family Clay Mining Business and later owning his own trucks. He had been living in Bourbon, MO and worked at Lowes in Sullivan before failing health. He served the the United States Air Force in the 305 Transportation Squadron and was Honorable Discharged at Grissom Air Force Base in Peru, Indiana. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation for Bernard Dillon will be 10 a.m. Monday Aug 17, 2020 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James. Patroit Guard Riders will provide an escort from the Jones Funeral Home to Macedonia Cemetery starting at 10:30 a.m.
Graveside Services with Full Military Honors for Bernard Dillon will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday Aug 17th, 2020 at the family plot in the Macedonia Cemetery near Rolla, MO. with Stephen Brubaker officiating.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.
