Barbara was a family person who loved all her family. She loved to be around people. She owned the Jefferson Plaza Coffee House in St. James for several years, and she also worked at Gordoz Restaurant in Rolla for over 14 years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed her home that was nestled into the country where she overlooked her beautiful lake. She would watch the sunrise and see the opportunity for a new day.
She had a beautifully vibrant spirit with an infectious laugh and smile which always brought everyone together. She enjoyed life to its fullest by traveling often. She enjoyed gardening and feeding her hummingbirds. Above all, she cherished her family and grandchildren. The role of grandmother was the absolute highlight of her world. She spent countless hours playing, interacting, and cooking with grandchildren. She made many precious memories with each of them, memories they will cherish for a lifetime.
Barbara was taken early in life. She would want us to be reminded that life is short, but sunrises are forever.
