Obituary

Audrey J. Swaim was born to Bill and Velma (Riley) Williams on July 21, 1942 in St. James, MO.  Her Lord called her home Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Silverstone Nursing Home in Rolla, MO after a yearlong illness.

Audrey grew up in the St. James area and married Darrell Swaim on June 7, 1959.  They enjoyed 58 years together.  Audrey and Darrell loved to travel and did a lot of traveling while he was in the service.  Audrey especially loved  it when they were stationed in France. After they retired they spent their winters in Florida and summers back home in St. James.

Audrey was a member of First Baptist Church, Belle, MO.

Audrey worked at California Manufacturing in St. James, for 31 years.

Audrey loved to sew and she made many outfits to go in the shoe-boxes for Samaritan’s Purse every year.  She also loved to do quilts. She was also a huge animal lover, her cats Henry and Maggie and her dog Jill were her world.

She is survived by her beloved brothers, Kenny Williams and wife Debbie of St. James and Melvin Williams and wife Linda of St. James and a host of nieces and nephews.
