William O. Schnelt of rural St. James, Missouri passed away on Monday, October 13, 2008 at his home. He was 85 years, 10 months and 1 day of age.

Willliam was born to his parents: Oscar and Clara (Hilderbrand) Schnelt on December 12, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Mary Katherine Guglielemencei on June 21, 1941 in Valley Park, Missouri.

Mr. Schnelt was a Farmer and for many years he and his wife had Schnelt Berry Farm.

Surviving William is his wife of the home: Mary Katherine Schnelt of St. James, Missouri; one son: William Richard Schnelt and wife Carla June of St. James, Missouri; two grandchildren: Steven Boyd and wife Dianne and Richard Jason and wife Cindy; and three great-grandchildren: Mark, Thomas and Justin.

Preceding William in death are his parents: Oscar and Clara (Hilderbrand) Schnelt and two brothers.

Services
Visitation for William will be on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri prior to the Memorial Service.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Delmar Hutson officiating.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
