William J. Reeser passed away at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, Mo. on Sunday, April 9, 2006. He was 86 years of age.

William was born on August 19, 1919 in Rutland, Illinois to his parents: William Charles and Adline (Case) Reeser. He was united in marriage to Alice Faye Patton Skaggs.

William was a machinist with tool & die for many years.

William is survived by his wife of the home: Alice Faye of Newburg, Missouri; four step sons: William Robert Skaggs and wife Maureen of Rolla, Missouri; Jimmy Skaggs and wife Linda of Salem, Missouri; Allen Skaggs and wife Thelma of Vida, Missouri; and Edward Skaggs and wife Beth of Jerome, Missouri; four step daughters: Beverly Blankenship of Vida, Missouri; Carol Turner and husband Dale of Springfield, Missouri ; Sandra Miller and husband Ron of Vida, Missouri; and Effie Furse and husband Sylvester of Doolittle, Missouri; and Mr. Reesers two daughters; along with many grandchildren and special great-granddaughter: Tabitha; also a host of relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed.

Services
Prayer Service for William will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at the Missouri Veterans Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Brother Ray Houser officiating.
