William Charles Bohrer Jr. passed away at his home in St. James, Missouri on Tuesday, June 22, 2010. He was 81 years, 10 months, and 12 days of age.
William Bohrer Jr. was born on August 10, 1928 in Kirkwood, Missouri to his parents: William Charles Sr. and Beatrice (Guyer) Bohrer. He was united in marriage to Doris Jean Byrd on February 10, 1951 in Piggot, Arkansas. To this union three daughters were born.
William Bohrer Jr. worked as the Director of Purchasing for the City of Kirkwood for 46 years. He loved to travel a lot; go fishing on the Meramec River. He also like to go hunting and gardening.
William Bohrer Jr. is survived by his wife of the home: Doris Jean (Byrd) Bohrer of St. James, Missouri; three daughters: Debra Sue Bridges and husband Randy of Las Vegas, Nevada; Donna Marie Parker and husband Steven of Hendrix, Oklahoma; Lisa Ann Carter of St. James, Missouri; two sisters: Gertrude Roach of Gray Summit, Missouri and Katherine Stendrude of Canyon County, California.
Preceding William Charles Jr. in death is his parents: William Charles Sr. and Beatrice (Guyer) Bohrer; one son-in-law: Donald Carter; one brother: Roy Allen Bohrer; and one sister: Marie Linsey.
Memorials may be given to: The Alzheimer's Association. Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Services
Visitation for William Bohrer Jr. will be on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 5 - 7 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10 AM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Ed Plants and Jerry Baumann officiating. Music will be provided by Stephen Brubaker - Amazing Grace and In The Garden with Connie Rhea at the organ. Pallbearers will be Dean Tabor; Jason Tabor; Faron Tabor; William Byrd; Don Vahey; and Ray Ellis. Burial, with full Military Honors, will be in the family plot in the St. James Cemetery in St. James, Missouri.
