Walter Gene Veraguth of St. James passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the St. James Living Center. He was 85 years of age.

Walter Veraguth was born March 6, 1936, in San Jose, CA, to the late Henry Walter and Helen Vettis Veraguth.

On April 29, 1959, in Reno, NV, he was united in marriage to Cecelia Colcchia. She entered into rest on March 17, 2016.

He is survived by one daughter-in-law: Lola England and Husband James of St. James, along with dear friends Jim and Sandy Streb of St. James.

He is preceded in death by his wife Cecelia Veraguth on March 17, 2016. His son Kenneth Veraguth on January 24, 2019.

Walter was a mechanic most of his life. He loved old cars and enjoyed telling story's of his old Hutson that he owned, along with many other old cars throughout the years.

Walter Veraguth will lay in state Saturday at 1:00 p.m. December 11 ^th , 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11 ^th , 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO. with Alecia Fischer officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will be beside his wife and son at the St. James Cemetery.
