Walter Arthur Kean passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in rural St. James, Missouri. He was 75 years, 3 months and 6 days of age.

Walter Arthur Kean was born on February 27, 1935 in Safe, Missouri to his parents: Lee Gilbert and Virginia Margaret (Holman) Kean. On May 13, 1961, in Rosati, Missouri, Walter Kean was united in marriage to Evelyn Mathena. To this union one child was born.

Walter Kean worked in Security with the Law Enforcement for many years.

Walter Kean is survived by one son: Scott Kean and wife Amber of St. James, Missouri; one brother: Gilbert Lee Kean and wife Imogene of Leasburg, Missouri; two grandchildren: Kortney and Eddie; two great-grandchildren: Evee and Christopher.

Preceding Walter Kean in death is his wife: Evelyn (Mathena) Kean; parents: Lee Gilbert and Virginia Margaret (Holman) Kean.

Services
Visitation for Walter Kean will be on Saturday, June 5, 2010 starting at 10 AM till time of service at 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Leroy Bryant officiating, with full Military Honors after the service.

Memorials may be made to the Tri-County Humane Society in St. James, Missouri. Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
