Virginia Margaret Kean of St. James, Mo. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great- grandmother and Friend at 95 years of age, was called to her eternal rest by her Heavenly Father on September 11, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Kean to whom she was married on October 27th, 1931., five brothers; John, Arthur, Dan, Sid, and George Holman., along with one sister: Rose Krewson.

To this union two sons were born: Gilbert Lee Kean of Leasburg, Mo husband of Imogene (Koepke) Kean and Walter Arthur Kean of St. James, husband of the late Evelyn Mathena Kean.

Daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Holman, She was born December 17, 1913 in St. Louis, Mo.

She is survived by two sisters; Elaine Skaggs of St. James and Alberta Meeham Ginn of the state of Arkansas.

Also survived by7 Grandchildren: four grand-daughters, two grandsons, and adopted grandson, and 15 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.

Services
Virginia Kean will lie in state Monday September 14, 2009 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Leroy Bryant officiating. Peggy and Leroy Bryant will provide the music. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Burial will be the family plot at the Hughes Cemetery near St. James. Memorial may be given to the St. James Humane Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
