Shirley Faye Salter of St. James passed away Thursday November 29, 2007. SHe was 65 years of age and 20 days of age.

Shirley was born November 9, 1942 the daughter of the late FloydHomer and Ellen Maye Jones Stegall.

On September 16, 1960 at Farmington, Mo., she was united in marriage to Chalres L. Salter. He entered into rest November 1, 2004.

Shirley Salter is survived byShirley Salter is survived by her son: Charles Salter Jr of Quincy, Illinois: daughters: Valerie Salter Erb and husband Gary of Desoto, Barbara Jean Salter of Desoto, Mo., and Julie Faye Matson and husband Roy of Licking. Sisters: Dorothy Turner of Bonne Terre, Mo., along with 8 grandchildren.

Services
Shirley Salter will lie in state from 6-8 pm Saturday December 1, 2007 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Graveside Services will be conducted 2pm Sunday December 2, 2007 at the Prim Rose Cemetery at Bonne Terre, Mo. Memorial may be given to Comtrea of Festus, Mo.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James
