Ruth Carmeletta Geisler of St. James passed away Saturday July 25, 2009 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center. She was 84 Years 9 months and 21 days of age.

Ruth Geisler was born October 4, 1924, at Broadway, Mo., north of St. James, the daughter of the late Perry Columbus and Laura Mae Parrish Moreland.

On November 26th, 1946 Ruth was united in marriage to Delcie Giesler. He passed away in 1976.

Ruth Geisler is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, along with one very special cousin, who was as close as a sister: Genieve Southard of St. James.

Services
Ruth Geisler will lie in state Monday July 27, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 28, 2009 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Bob Johnston officiating. Burial will be in the Broadway Memorial Cemetery near St. James. Memorial may be given to the First Baptist Church in Rolla or the St. James Humane Society, cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
