Obituary

Ronald Warren "RW" Lamberth of Cook Station, Missouri, passed away on May 8, 2013 at the Missouri Veteran's Home in St. James, Missouri. He was 85 years, 3 months, and 4 days of age. RW was born on February 04, 1928 in St. Louis, MO to his parents: Floice and Seva McCullough Lamberth.

RW spent his childhood growing up on his parent's farm in Ferguson, MO. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1946-47 in WWII and again from 1950-1952 in Korea. He received the Victory Medal, UN Service Medal, and the Korean Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars. In 1950, RW moved with his parents to their farm south of St. James and in November of 1955 purchased Lamberth Stock Farm which he continued to operate for 55 years until his health began to fail. He also operated a trucking business for several years hauling livestock, feed, grain, coal, and fertilizer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and being on his farm, continually working to improve his pasture and business. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving RW is his special friend and companion, Janet Snelson of the home; two daughters, Linda Hazely of Joplin, MO and Cheryl Copling and husband Ray of Cuba, MO; one sister, Loveta Steen and husband Merel of Cook Station; four grandsons, Brandon Lamberth and wife Laura of St. James, MO, Braeden Lamberth of Steelville, MO, Ray Copling, Jr and Jeremy Copling of Cuba, MO; two granddaughters, Christine Lamberth and Brandi Marts of Joplin, MO; six great grandchildren, 5 nieces and 2 nephews.

Preceding RW in death were his parents, grandparents Oscar and Ida Lamberth, and Alonzo and Bertha McCullough, brother Richard "Dick" Lamberth, son Randy Lamberth, and great-grandson Owen Lamberth.

Services
Visitation for Ronald "RW" Lamberth will be on Saturday, May 11, from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral Services will be on Sunday, March 12, 2013 at 2 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Mo. Ronald will be buried in the St. James Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Brandon Lamberth; Braeden Lamberth; Adyn Lamberth; Jeremy Copling; Shawn Steen; and Merel Steen. Honorary Pallbearers: Gary Engelmeier, Larry Lorts, Gary Lorts, Don White, Jody Sanders.

All arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
