Obituary

Robert L. Bullock of St. James passed away Saturday April 28, 2012 at Osage Beach, Mo., at the Lake Regional Hospital as a result of a auto accident. He was 78 years 10 months and 13 days of age.

Robert Bullock was born in Safe, Mo., on June 15, 1933 the son of the late Louis Jackson and Dovie Mae Reynolds Bullock.

On July 3, 1951 in Salem, Arkansas, Robert Bullock was married to Alberta Mae Keeney.

Bob Bullock is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Alberta Bullock of St. James, Dear Son: Gale Bullock and wife Lucy of Osage Beach, Mo., Dear Daughters: Kimberly Robinson and husband David of Cuba; Roberta Shields and husband Dennis of Rolla and Alicea Whitener of Copperas Cove, Texas. Also survived by Sisters: Ida Mae Kinsey and Betty Metcalf and husband Tom both of St. James., along with 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Bob Bullock is preceaded in death by his parents, three brothers Leonard, Ed, Everett and Lowell (Jack) Bullock and sisters: Ruth Lovelace, Alice Duckworth and Helen Bartle.

Bob Bullock was a hard worker, who never missed a day of work. He worked 18 years for International Shoe and worked for Bill Morrison at the St. James Elevator for many years and retired from Schwitzer after 22 years. He loved his family and was visiting his son and his family at the time of his passing. He loved to travel and could always be seen traveling in a new Chevy Truck. Many hours were spent going to yard sales and fixing up his purchases and resalling them. He attended the First Assembly of God Church in St. James. Bob will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services
Robert Bullock will lie in state from 5-8 P.M. Monday April 30, 2012 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Mick Thrasher officiating. Vocalist will be Dave Robinson with Jackie Robinson at the organ. Pallbearers will be Dennis Shields, Schoen Grayson, Stephen Shields, Kenneth Keeney, Harry Keeney and Lee O'Dell Frey.

Burial will be in the family plot at the High Gate Baptist Church. Memorials may be given to the First Assembly of God Scholarship Fund.

All arangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
