Robert Lee Bryant of St. James, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at St. James, Missouri. Robert was 77 years, 10 months and 7 days of age.

Robert was born on July 17, 1930 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to his parents: Forrest Harry and Alice B. (McCune) Bryant. He was united in marriage to Viona Estelle Crouch on December 19, 1984 at St. Johns, Missouri.

Robert is survived by his wife of the home: Viona Estelle Bryant; three sons: Michael Bryant of Springfield, Mo.; Donald Eagle of St. Charles, Missouri; and Allen Eagle of Marilyn Heights, Missouri, four daughters: Patricia McKellips of Springfield, Mo.; Connie Eagle of St. James, Mo.; Brenda Eagle of St. James, Mo.; and Denna Davis of Gerald, Mo.; ten Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents: Forrest Harry and Alice B. Bryant; and one brother: Jerry Lee Bryant.

Robert Bryant worked for 37 years with the Terminal Railroad in St. Louis. He enjoyed being a carpenter and loved his yard work. He enjoyed his many tractors and was always willing to help a neighbor.

Services
Visitation for Robert will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2 PM at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Brother Ray Houser officiating. Pallbearers will be Orville Gibson, Glenn Culberson, Robert Watson, Kevin Knock, Donald Eagle and Benny Eagle. Burial will be in the family plot at the St. James Cemetery in St. James, Mo.

Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Society.
