Richard Fowler of St. James passed away suddenly, Saturday September 19, 2009 in Sullivan, Mo. He was 52 years of age.

Richard Fowler was born June 12, 1957 in St. Louis, Mo., to Virgil and Hazel (Quick) Fowler.

On August 4, 1987 in St. James, he was united to Betty Richards.

Richard Fowler is survived by his wife: Betty Fowler of the home in St. James, Mo. Sons: Kevin Fowler and wife April and Timothy and wife Joni both of Salina, Kansas. Daughter: Chrisy Griesler of Kansas City, Mo., Brother: William Fowler of Washington, Mo., Sisters: Rose Mary Butrick and Ellen Chambers both of Dixon., 12 grandchildren and Mother and Father-In-Law Lloyd and Roberta Richards of St. James.

He is preceded in death by his son: Jeffery Griesler, one brother; Charles Virgil Fowler Jr.

Services
Richard Fowler will lie in state from 6-8 pm Monday September 21, 2009 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 22, 2009 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Steve Lederle officiating. Memorials maybe given to the American Heart Association.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
