Richard Cleo Campbell of Rolla formerly of St. James passed away suddenly on January 18, 2018 at his apartment in Rolla. He was 57 years of age.

Richard Campbell of was born December 31, 1960 just hours short of a New Years Baby, the son of Robert and Maxine Vivian Troutt Campbell.

He is survived by his sons: Richie LeRoy Campbell and wife Sierra of St. James; Jacob Alan Campbell of Dallas, Texas; and Justin Michael Campbell and wife Sherry of Rolla, Mo. Richard was one of eight children, his sibling include: Michael Lee Campbell of Virginia; Patricia Campbell of St. James; Nancy Campbell Poole of Rolla; Deborah McCormack and husband Jerry of House Springs, Mo.; Sandra Elaine Sands and husband Jeffery of St. James and Linda Gayle Sanderson and husband Bruce of Rocky Mt. North Carolina. Two grandchildren: Isaiah Campbell and Shaylee Campbell.

Richard loved the outdoors he loved to hunt and especially enjoyed fishing. He was a quite person and like the simple things of life. He enjoyed watching the Cardinals and the St Louis Blues Hockey. Richard worked for United States Geological Survey in Rolla for 18 years.

Richard will lie in state on Sunday January 21, 2018 from 12 to 1:30 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday January 21, 2018 at the St. James Cemetery with Don Carson officiating. Pallbearer were Jeffery Sands, Jeffery Poole, Corey Campbell, Bruce Sanderson, Jerry McCormack and Richie Campbell. On-line condolences at www.jonesfunerals.com
