Obituary

Randall Eugene Ray of St. James, Mo. passed away quietly, at his home on Friday, August 30, 2013. Randall Ray was 55 years, 4 months, and 14 days of age.

Randall Ray was born on April 17, 1958 in Rolla, Mo. to his parents: Thomas Elza and Wanda L. (Copeland) Ray. Randall Ray was united in marriage to Donna Gray on July 26, 1980 at Broadway Baptist Church in rural St. James, Mo.

Randall, known as Randy, grew up in St. James and graduated from John F. Hodge High School. He worked at his family's Shell and Texaco Gas Stations. In 1981 after marrying Donna they opened the Rays Tire and Service Center. Randy was a people person and always had a sense of humor. Randall loved to fish; he had many fishing trips including trips to Canada. Randy also enjoyed to hunt and always had a story about the big one that got away. He was a collector of everything, and always had the ability to locate prize items. Randall also was on the board at Camp Brimshire for eight years. Randall Ray will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Randall Ray is survived by his wife of the home: Donna L. Ray of St. James, Mo.; two brothers: Jerry Ray and wife Linda of St. James, Mo.; Dennis Ray and ex-wife Judith of Manatte, Florida; Father and Mother-In-Law: Doyle and Leora Gray of Vichy, Mo.; Sister-in-law: Doris Gray and Howard Becklenberg of Vichy, Mo., Dianne and Brian Adams of St. James; Brother-in-law: David Gray and Brenda Braidlow and her daughter Kelly Herman;, Sister-in-law: Dena Coleman and husband Bill of Steelville, Mo.; nephews: Jeff Ray and Jerry Ray and wife Claudette; Morgan Adams; Michael Gray and wife Danee; and Daniel Gray; nieces: Jessica Ray; Miranda Adams; and DeAnn Stringer and husband Paul., along with great nieces Abby Ray and great nephew Justin Ray.

Preceding Randall Ray in death is his parents: Thomas Elza and Wanda L. (Copeland) Ray; and one nephew: Jordan Ray.

Services
Visitation for Randall Ray will be on Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 3 - 8 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Services for Randall Ray will be on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 10 A.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Walter Bud Sanders officiating. Pallbearers will be: Don Licklider; Tom Brown; Jeremiah Brown; Allen Juern; Larry Lorts; Dave Moeslein. Burial will be in the Broadway Memorial Cemetery in rural St. James, Mo.

Memorials may be made to Camp Brimshire; St James Sports Club or the St James Kiwanis Club.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funerals Home in St. James, Mo.
