Phyllis Ann Wyatt of St. James, Missouri passed away on June 28, 2010, at the Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan, Missouri. She was 77 years and 4 days of age.

Phyllis Wyatt was born in Hastings, Nebraska on June 24, 1933, to her parents: Ernest Rudolph and Anna Marie (Ruhter) Schmidt. Phyllis Schmidt was united in marriage to Frank Wyatt Jr. on July 5th, 1958 in Aurora, Colorado.

Phyllis Wyatt was a dietician at the Waynesville Hospital in Waynesville, Missouri and at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri for several years. She also worked in the Nursing Homes in Cuba and St. Roberts as a dietician. Phyllis retired from the Missouri Veteran's Home in St. James, Missouri after ten years of service there.

Phyllis Wyatt is survived by four sons: Frank Richard Wyatt III and wife Joan of Houston, Texas; Gary Allan Wyatt and wife Cynthia of Sullivan, Missouri; Rick Kevin Wyatt and wife Wendy of St. James; and Donald Bernard Wyatt and wife Marcia of St. James, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Phyllis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Phyllis in death is her husband: Frank Richard Wyatt Jr. on September 10, 2005; one brother: Bernard Schmidt; one sister: Mary Shinn; and one grandson: Doug Wyatt.

Services
Visitation will be on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 6-8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the St. John Lutheran Church in St. James, Missouri with Jeffrey A. Schanbacher officiating. Pallbearers will be: Michael Wyatt; Pat Wyatt; Matt Wyatt; Alex Wyatt; Steve Wyatt and Craig Wyatt. Burial will be in the family plot in the Miles Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the St. John Lutheran Church in St. James, Mo. Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
