Phillip Edward Pfeiffer, of St. James, MO, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the age of 76.  Loving husband of the late Binnie Dierkes;  beloved son of the late Edward and Germaine Pfeiffer; devoted father of Greg (Jeannie) Pfeiffer and Eric Pfeiffer; cherished grandpa of Macy, Max, and Maya Pfeiffer and Sierra and Paige Dierkes; treasured Pop of Chris (Kim) Dierkes and Scott Dierkes; dear brother of Gerard (Linda) Pfeiffer and Lawrence (Carolyn) Pfeiffer.  Preceded in death by his sister, Timothea Smith, and his brother, Michael Diggs.

Phil grew up all over the St. Louis area, moving several times as a child and calling many houses home.  As a kid, Phil enjoyed spending quality time with his brothers, often getting themselves into shenanigans that only brothers could do.  He was the oldest of the three younger brothers and filled the big brother role well.

Phil spent his adult life working in the auto body industry, first as an auto body technician and then as a manager.  His employees respected him as a leader and treated him like a friend.  When he wasn't working, he enjoyed the simple things in life like taking motorcycle rides through the country and deer hunting with his sons.  He also enjoyed hosting parties at his house with family and friends, whom he always made feel so loved and welcomed.

Phil spent the later part of his life with the love of his life, Binnie.  They enjoyed trips together to The Grand Canyon and Branson, where many unforgettable memories were made.  They always enjoyed each other's company to the fullest extent and went on many other adventures together.  Phil recently spent time working with friends at the St. James Community Center.  He would also meet up with friends for coffee and breakfast in town, making more friends wherever he went.

God tells us in Ecclesiastes there will be a time "time to weep, and a time to laugh, and a time to mourn, and a time to dance."  The time to weep and mourn will pass, but the time we laughed and danced with Phil will be in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives.

Visitation will be on Monday January 27th from 5pm-8pm at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.  Funeral service will be Tuesday January 28th at 11am with a visitation prior from 10-11am.  A lunch will follow at Cowboy Church in St. James.
