Paul Samuel Barnicle of St. James passed away at this home Saturday November 17, 2007. He was 63 years 9 months and 21 days of age.
Paul was born January 27, 1944 in Columbia, Mo. the only child of Lee Roy and Pearl J. (Jones) Barnicle.
On June 11, 1966 at the First Baptist Church in St. James, Paul was united in marriage to Judith Eileen Lamar Barnicle.
He is sruvived by his wife, Judith Barnicle of St. James, Son Jeffrey Paul Barnicle and Crystal Conaway of Steelville. Daughter Rebecca Sue Hodges and David Matthews of Charlestown, Indiana. Nine grandchildren, Tanya Lynn, Abbi Nichole, Tylor Wayne, Heylea Alexandria, Brooke Eileen and Paige Ann Barnicle. Samuel Dale and Brian Christopher Hodges and Levi Matthews. Two great grandchildren, Elijah Barnicle and Angel Anna Rutz.
Paul grew up on a dairy farm in Steelville, Missouri. He graduated from Steelville High School in 1962. He worded most of his life as a carpenter and was retired in 1993. Paul was a member of First Baptist Church in St. James, Missouri for over 40 years, where he served as a Sunday School teacher, and the bus ministry. He was also involved in the Boys Town Ministry there and worked with the youth. Paul will be greatly missed by this friends and family.

Services
Paul will lie in state from 6-8 pm Monday November 19, 2007 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Brother Jerry Baumann officiating. Music will be provided by Steven Brubaker, vocalist and Janet Ashley, organist. Pallbearers will be Tom Miller, Maurice Williams, Tylor Barnicle, Samual Hodges, Don Macormic and Charles West. Burial will be in the family plot at the Goodall Cemetery near Jerome, Mo.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
