Patricia D. Benton of Steelville, Mo., passed away Sept 11, 2011 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Mo. She was 71 years 2 months and 24 days of age.

Patricia D. Benton was born June 18, 1940 in Belle, Mo., the daughter of the late Leonard Joseph and Pansy Dale Ammerman Haines.

On July 20th, 1956at Dixon, Mo., Patricia was united in marriage to Donald E. Benton.

Patricia Benton is survived by her husband of 55 years: Donald E. Benton of Steelville; Sons: Douglas Eugene Benton of Leasburg, Mo. and Toby Lynn Benton of Gray Summit.
Daughters: Gayle and William Rice of Pacific; Darlena and Bob Morris of Fordland, Mo.; Valerie Jane of Cuba and Kristal and Alex Hendrix of Steelville. Brothers: Delmar and Helen Haines of Rolla; Emerald and Lottie Ammerman of Vichy and Joy Celyn Haines of Villa Ridge, Mo. Sisters: Donna and Bob Hudson of Gerald; Bonnie and Dean Thenhaus of Belle and Judy Stevens of Gerald, Mo. ALong with 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services
Patricia Benton will be in state at Jones Funeral Home in St. James from 5:00 - 8:00 P. M. on Monday., September 12, 2011.

Services for Patricia Benton will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday., September 13, 2011 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Bill Rice officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Steelville. Memorial may be given to the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
