Nicole Marie Bouvatte, 43, of St. James, Missouri, passed away on November 28, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Nicole was the daughter of Kimberly Lynn (Snelson) Renner and David W. Bouvatte and step-dad, Donald Renner II; the sister of Christopher Bouvatte and Karen of St. James,  step-brother, Donald Renner III and wife, Tina of Herculaneum, Missouri, and their children, Willie, Dominic and Lucy of Jefferson City, Missouri, and step-sister, Misty Renner and her children, Christopher and Alex. She was deeply loved by her family and will be remembered for her kindness, gentle nature, and sweet personality.

Nicole enjoyed many simple joys in life. She loved reading, listening to music, and caring for animals—especially dogs and cats. The holidays were her favorite time of year, and she found great happiness in gift shopping, festive music, and the spirit of celebration. She was known for choosing thoughtful and beautiful birthday cards for the people she cared about.

A daily tradition she shared with her mother was watching Jeopardy, a routine they rarely missed. Nicole had a sharp mind and often called out the correct answers before the contestants.

Nicole lived with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, a chronic genetic condition. Despite its challenges, she faced life with courage and warmth. In her memory, the family encourages donations to support research for a cure.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 2, from 12:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in St. James. She will be laid to rest in the family plot at St. James Cemetery.
